About

Lowkey is a modern display typeface, inspired by classical music. Lowkey references Didot — a classical transitional serif for its defined contrast and Apple Garamond — a modern serif for its practicality and condense characteristic. Lowkey is also influenced by the spontaneity of sound in classical music as one of the the typeface's goals is to visually channel sophistication and balance yet still embrace energy and distinctiveness.

Lowkey is adaptive. Its usage is not limited for only music but is also applicable for display typography in newspaper and magazine.
